123 Fire recognises the expectations placed on contractors working in regulated, public-sector and safety-critical estates. The Carbon Reduction Plan sets out the company's current emissions position, reduction measures and reporting commitments. It is published in line with PPN 06/21 and the Procurement Act 2023 to support tender returns and framework due diligence.
The plan covers M B Plant Limited (trading as 123 Fire) as a single trading entity. It addresses Scope 1 direct emissions, Scope 2 purchased electricity, and the relevant Scope 3 categories applicable to a UK passive fire protection contractor.
The figures include measured data where available and reasonable estimates where complete source data is not yet held. Where Scope 3 categories are estimated, this is identified in the document. The methodology will be reviewed as reporting systems mature and as further primary data becomes available.
